Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while launching a campaign to grow 17 species of tulips in the garden of the Chief Minister’s residence complex, planted tulip bulbs with his family. Four thousand tulip bulbs are being planted in the garden of the Chief Minister’s residence complex. These include special-coloured tulips of Lake Purple and Bicolour species. Chief Minister, while instructing the Horticulture Department to prepare an action plan for the commercial production of tulips, emphasised innovation in the field of floriculture and horticulture.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with taking detailed information about tulip production from Horticulture In-charge Deepak Purohit, also gathered information about various horticulture-related activities in the complex, including mushroom production and beekeeping.
